Ok last weekend I went out to the only gun show still running in Sydney that I know of.

Unlike the last venue that hosted a gun show I went to, this place was poorly lit.

There were slim pickings in the bayonet and surplus rifle department, I only saw 3 or so P '07 bayonets and they were pricey. I ended up picking up a nice '42 manufacture aussie bayonet. I ended up paying $225 for it (yeah I can tell by the blood coming out my arse), $25 more than I paid for my rifle!

I saw a few No1Mk111* around but no No4's or No5's. I also saw a caracano going cheap as well. I didn't see any other milsurp rifles.

There was a few tables of sporter rifles, but nothing that really got my attention, not that it mattered any way because I haven't put in for a permit to acquire any way.

Cheers mate.

The bloke who had the bayonet stall told me that a lot of the p'07 bayonets here in Australia had been shipped to the states Censored because there is a bigger market for them over there.

Bloody bayonet thieves.  Censored

we have a huge appetite , i agree , but at least they are going into collections as oppposed to government destruction elsewhere , i treasure my commonwealth collection as or above my US arms collection - if i were really clearheaded id divest my US pieces and add to my early commonwealth - problem will be finding the pieces i need here in the states backwards from 1890 i suspect

nice one Hatchet. seems the high prices for bayos here are very common..i paid around the same for mine..theres a global market for these as A square 10 mentioned, hence the scall wags sellin these have dollar signs in their eyes and are laughin all the way to the bank..but the way i see it is if its in good nick and what you want..well...its only money.
