The first day went rather well. Started off with an excellent meal followed by a social gathering, yes we talked mostly about Enfields and their exploits. Hoadie, Rhino and myself had are headed to the range tomorrow. Also Rhino and I have come to the conclusion that Hoadie needs glasses or longer arms.!!!

Hoadie has now been introduced to the Southern delicacy called southern fried catfish, hush puppies, and sweet iced tea.

We just returned from the range. I guess we expended a few hundred .303 British rounds among a few non-Enfield rounds as well. Fired up the ole Barbie and is getting to cooking temperature as I’m typing this post. Going to BBQ a Deer shoulder for our pleasure dining tonight.

Bastards.....we are having a nice family easter...I cooked a leg of lamb on the spit...most people here had never had lamb...converted a couple. Lamb is all I ever ate growing up...guess it comes with living in wool country and raising lots and lots of sheep...

Sorry guys, We went to the range and left the women to go about what they wanted to do. and we did not have a camara... sorry and the range was sweet. nobody there but us . we had the range to ourselves. Hoadie and I pommeled the targets with the 303's and the 308 ishy's while Cookie shot pistol behind us on the other side of the range.
Hoadie fired my Tok pistol and fell in love. to bad he cant have one at home. poor guy!

Sounds awesome blokes.
I am contemplating taking a gig as a summer camp guide for the next US summer, it would be awesome to catch up with you mad blokes if/when I get over there. |

Tonight was Raw Oyster on the half shell night Hoadie, Rhino and my self each ate 4 dozen. Rhino is leaving in the morning. Hoadie and I are headed in to the woods in the early morning to hunt turkey. Hoadie may have a bit of a hang Over. |

Rhino and company has headed south. That leaves Hoadie and I to have fun tonight. Hoadie and I went hunting Turkey this morning heard several but we were not successful in calling them in close enough for a clear shot. As we walked the acreage we came around a bend in the trail spooking 25 to 30 birds. A bad day in the woods still beats a good day at the office.
