Just recently added four new ones to the vault. 1917 Ishapore No1 MKIII converted to 410, 1899 LEC1 RIC carbine, 1939 BSA No1 MK III dispersal rifle and a 1964 Ishapore 2A. The RIC has been bubba'd but can be restored. The rest are original with matching numbers. I know it sounds sick and twisted, but I just don't seem to be able to look and not buy.

I hope this is not one of those actions made using SWES Steel.
I've read that from 1950 to 1965 the steel used caused an abnormally high percentage of actions failing the second (oiled) proof test cartridge, and for some time they used only a single dry case proof cartridge. The steel was supposedly then changed to an EN (European Normal) specification steel for the 2A production.
