Hello, im new to the forum, however ive shot lee enfields and pattern 14's all my life, ive been loading for a few yrs now, but always wondered how IMR4350 OR IMR4320 would work in the 303 british cartridge, currently ive been using 39.2 grains of H335 with the hornady round nose 174 grain bullet.
i shoot this in my longbranch #4mk1, has the 2 groove barrel, shoots very well, also i have a ross 1905 sporter re barreled by a  good gunsmith friend of mine with a savage lee enfield barrel, as well i havea #1 lee sporter dated 1900, and of course no candina household is complete without an old #1mk3 hanging around, i have 3 of those, just wondering if anyone has any experience using these two powders with good results in any lee enfield or  p14 as i do also have a BSA commercial sporter.

what kind of accuracy did you get from your rifle on the range?? my load i have for 4350 is 45.5 gr with the 174 bullet from speer reloading manul#14 start of 43 gr and max of 47gr compressed.
i backed it off a little for the lighter bullet, they used a 180 grn round nose with it.

Used the last of my IMR 4350 at 41 grains a shell for sierra 180 grain bullets with no problem. Was a light load but you should double check that as always.

under 1" @ 100yards, probably could have tweaked it more, but my ADD kicked in and I shredded a bunch of milk jugs and salad dressing containers full of coloured water.
