Hi guys,
I came across this rifle & was wondering if anyone can offer an opinion before I buy it... From what I can figure, the original .303 parts are made in India but post WWII they were turned into a Sporting hunting rifle by Parker Hale. Owner says the gun fires very well, no pitting and rifling is in great shape. Worth it for a starter hunting rifle ? Coho Canada ======================================= Parker-hale .303 w/ rings and mount For sale is a 1939 Ishapore factory Parker-Hale .303 british with parker-hale rings and mount. very good condition, bluing is 99%, excellent bore, bolt and action serial numbers match. but it needs a new butt pad. $250 + shipping. selling to fund another project. |

I am not sure whether it is good value or not as I am not sure what they go for in your part of the world.
generally, P-H turned out some fine rifles based on the Lee Enfield. If it is good order and the barrel is good it should make a great sporting rifle.
