I compiled this list of calibres with most of their dimensions into a spreadsheet. There are 450 entries, but some have duplicate or even triplicate names (those have their alternative names in brackets).
 
ie: 9×17mm Browning Short (.380 ACP, .380 Auto, 9mm Corto, 9mm Kurz), 12.7 x 99 mm NATO (.50 BMG)
 
I know there are a few errors, but its a good starting point to look up an unknown calibre.

Left click on the link
Save the ZIP file to your computer
Extract the Excel file out of the Zip file

Thanks for posting that Dairy Farmer. I had no trouble opening it.(but I'm using an I-Mac)

No problem, right click, open in new window, file downloads & directory opens. Left click on file & it unzips.
