I have never had any real discomfort shooting any Lee Enfield the 1903 with a "S" is a different matter
The "C" I can shoot all day.
Have a Nice Day

My big realization came when I found out that a .300 Weatherby was indeed a real mans gun.
1 shot, direct to tears.

I have a newly acquired 03A3 that has been converted to .308 Norma Mag that I have to shoot.  it will be shot in a lead sled, as I won't risk a needless trip to the Chiropractor.

I shot my #4Mk1 with 180 gr PPU ammo the other day off a rest and it wasn't too bad but I had the Limbsaver on it.

Worst rifle for recoil I ever fired was a pump-action Remington in 30-06. The owner was trying to sell it to me, he blew that sale with one tooth jarring round!

When I was 18 I got the "Weatherby Eye".  I was real careful at 19, and got it again.  So far many decades later I've been able to not add a third scar.  So far!

I have a 300 as well. Loving called the "bone rattler" in my house.

I'm with Shamu on this one....Just finished "working" up an accurate 110gn load for a Remington 7600 Pump...and the best part was when I gave the "owner" his gun back. Best thing about a "7600 Pump"...watching someone else use it !
