Rhino.
Did you look in the old thread of mine where I bought a wood rack? You could "borrow" a lot of dimensions from the drawings there. |

May have to do that ....or just get with Son in Law and stack rifles and take measurements.. We have talked about it a few times.. I still have to get my ledges welded to start framing my new gun room though.... just waiting for some cooler weather ... its hot enough down here and to add my leathers on top of that with the heat from welding ......Well Y'all get the picture !!! I do have a bunch of bed frame angle iron that would work great !!! the wood will be kinda hard though...since the little Pop and Son saw mill closed and I cant get local hard wood or Cypress any more .... but I could possibly re purpose some 2Xs from a hard wood pallet or maybe dig enough and I may have some stashed in the barn !!!! It really dont matter about the wood, since I still have some felt left from the gun rack in the gun room !!! guess Im rambling now ... |

Can you get the measurements for wood & transpose them to the angle iron? It sounds like it should work for quite a bit of it.
Things I never thought about, like spacing so the bolts don't beat on the wood to the right, are important. |
