Howdy ! Now dont slam me to hard, but I am turning my No1 MKIII into a sporter...
I removed the front and rear sight. With these gone, it leaves the slot and pin hole for the front and pin and screw hole in the rear. How would you fill these to get a smooth barrel ? I will be using a duracoat finish. Thanks in advance for your help Bill |

I have just done a smle barrel on a martini and I sanded down a slightly larger pin in the drill press and drove it through the cross barrel hole and epoxied a shaped pin into the old screw hole then filed them before finishing with 220 then 360grit W&D paper. They will blue up with the barrel and become indistinguishable.
