Finally came out of hibernation in the man cave & made a trip to the range. Yay!

Not too shabby after the winter layoff & I'm really getting to like the Leatherwood ART2-600 scope now I'm getting more used to it. The tying in of the power ring to the range-finding reticule & BDC is odd, but it does work & you can un-couple the two easily if you want to!

The usual start-of-season blunders, but it shaped up nicely towards the end.

This was the final target shot at 100 yd off the bench supported. It still can't get the H335 to behave as well as the older 3031 powder either for consistent velocities, nor for grouping. This was the best the rifle & ammo could do. I didn't really feature in the process with the stand, bench, bags & so on.

I made it a 3 1/2" 10 round group scoring 100 7x on a full sized silhouette.

Yes, that looks like the same scope.

Thats quite a set up you have there Shamu. For testing I have a cooler bag (for a 6 pack) that is filled with 3 plastic bags full of sand. Normally sit it on top of a breeze block and shoot from prone. The cooler bag was a freebie and my daughters sand pit is now down a few pounds of sand. Does the job though.

It seems the accuracy with those loads is not what you had before. Have you run them through the chronometer?
My local gun shop is having problems getting the Vectan powder. So I'm having to look elsewhere. Luckily they do have PPU factory made rounds in stock. That tends to shoot well in my rifles.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

Yes the chrony indicates as wider spread & higher shot to shot variation than I get with 3031 or 4895.
3031=
Ind. Vel. Low High AVG E.S. S.D. A.D. Group/Distance

2450 2478 2527 2500 @ 10' 49.0 18.9 14.1 2.5" @ 100yd
2625 2585 2668 2622.0 64.6 23.1 14.8 3.5"&100yd.

The original "Fultons Of Bisley, No Drill, No Tap".
Clamps to the charger bridge & 2 hex bolts through the pivot points for the original rear sight.
