Only semantics, I know, but getting the terminology right is explicit and avoids confusion.

A Mk.I Lee Enfield is not the same beast as a Mk.1 Lee Enfield


and likewise the mkI rifle is not the same as a no 1 rifle , sometimes it may seem picky but its critical to getting correct answers to your specific rifle questions , since i do not yet own a chager loading lee enfield/metford im not at all certain how it might be marked without looking it up - it is an upgrade to original magazine lee enfield/metfords , easily discernible by the presence of the bridge Wink
