he!!o everybody!!! I found Enfield rifle on the attic, but have no idea what it really is. Can you help me, please? Pictures below, several stamps, as I understand VR under crown is Victoria Reign for Queen Victoria of England, there is also ENFIELD and illegible date 18?? on lock's plate. Several numbers on other parts, as I understand regimental or control stamps? Length is ca. 113 cm.

It appears to be a Snider Mk.III Long Rifle which has been shortened.  A photo of the markings on top of the knox-form would help.

They used to be fairly common here. No one seemed to want them.
Now, they are scarcer than unicorn crap!
I wish I had've taken one or two when they were offered back in the day!

Dutchman, On the assumption that your Snider was originally a Mk.III Long Rifle, (Mk.III breech, military markings, brass furniture and no bayonet bar on barrel) this is how it would have appeared prior to modification.
