I agree with Cookie ... it doesn't impress me much - looks to me like they took a perfectly good rifle and turned it into a wall hanger with bling.  P.S There are so many things wrong with that sale description and possible elements that breech the trade practices act it's not funny ... # - Sanding stocks ... # - Some mysterious registry to authenticate the supposed LOW numbers that they themselves created out of 100? Dare I say more. |

Frontier Gun has a No1MkIII* Parker-Hale sport for $125.00.Monte Carlo stock.(base of stock needs to be re-finished...but otherwise looks good

You fellows are right. And I really like old ratty rifles the best. It's just that it's nice and good to see an old soldier in dress uniform (if you understand what I mean "bling"). And I dig the fact of the honor it stands for.
