Gents, I have just come across an interesting advert in France for a supposed Italian Sniper version of the No4Mk2.
http://www.naturabuy.fr/Enfield-N-4-MKII-Sniper-Italie-C1b-788--item-2777357.html It looks to me as if it's just a very nice 1957 made Mk2 with a very nice (1943?)"T" scope fitted. In which case it's a bit expensive. The seller is a profesional, but I do not know if he has any paperwork to prove provenance of Italien military ownership as a Sniper version. Could be interesting if it was! Comments from our resident experts welcome! |

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

Isn't 1957 a little late for Faz FTR?
Also no king screw swivel. Its definitely unusual. |

Unless the seller has proof to back up the claim then it's just a post-war rifle built into a sniper copy.
