Welcome CTB, that is a beautiful part of the world. I visited Rimini many years ago for the World Ducati weekend. Great fun and a great place.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

Me too!
If you can escape the tourist trap streets along the beach its beautiful up in the hills behind town.

Hoadie

sorry , no Carcano

' cause  it is practically impossible to reload for "a decent shoot"
There is no ( all around the world ) a production of bullets with the
correct cal. - i know Hornady made something in the past but now
impossible to find .

Now , in the north Italy , someone yet utilize ( with excellents performances )
the  bullets pulled from military ammo  ( original ) found by metal detectors
in the theatres ( alpines ) of the WWI  fightings  , and also ( previous washing )
the original solenite powder ,  but that is a very rare occurrence

Someone utilize reduced charges under a lead bullet but  for a rifle  ....i dislike both

Another Welcome!

The bullet situation for Enfields is not much better than that for Carcanos right now. My 1903a3 and M1917 are getting the most range time right now.
Have a Nice Day
If already having a nice day please disregard

Hi Bear 43

The Long Branch , a ex Italian Navy (  ...yes sirs ) 1948 service rifle -
...before to be in my hands  , it fired only the arsenal test shots ! (  three ! )

What "we" ( it  ....and me ) can do at 100 meters with "my" match load

My ex Tsahal  ( 1955 about ) 38 S&W with his 200 gr bullets ( mould from NEI )

....really these two are the favorites of my weaponry

regards
