My hunting pard (Shaun - from South Africa) recently acquired a "sported" No 1 MkIII *.
He didn't like the sights, & asked if I knew where he could obtain proper Enfield sights. 4 of us went to the cabin this past weekend, to prep for the upcoming hunt season. We went to the gravel pit to shoot(cuz I have a newly acquired no4 to try). Shaun's Enfield had the "buckhorn"(?) sights. It shot ok, but on the 5th shot the front sight fell right off So he says - "ah, problem solved - I'll mount a scope" He's a machinist by trade - so he won't have a problem. Someone here was making a custom bracket / mount. Anyone remember that - it wasn't long ago. Like to get some info on that |
