I was going through my pictures and found one of the Rifle Formally Known as Maltby. Comparison tests were done between the original photo and the current photos to see exactly how badly the Maltby rifle was disfigured. I do believe that he still looks good. He shoots a smaller bullet now but it's not about the size that matters, it's how you use it!!!

Except for the Parker Hale PH5C target sight, bipod, and sling, everything on this weapon is authentic Enfield. It is my representation of a DCRA 7.62x51 conversion now. The original barrel was rusted and corroded out past the chamber so it needed to be replaced to function properly and safely. The only replacement barrel I had on hand was a 2A1. I mated a No4 front sight to it successfully, reindexed the the barrel with the correct headspacing in place for this rifle, and followed that up with the center bedding stocking up method. Everything is good to go now...

Parker and Hale sights are expensive? Hard to find?

They're becoming collectable & so prices are rising.

For a L-E No4 (or No5) you'd need a P-H 5C, for a L-E No1 (SMLE) a P-H 5A.

Depending on the accessories (adjustable or changeable iris eyepiece , color filters & whether the mount & arm's serial numbers match) you're looking at $200~325 assuming similar (nice) condition.
The attaching bolts will run another $15~20 depending if they're included or not.
Be aware the 5C comes in 2 variations, the "rounded adjust knobs are 1/2 MOA clicks, the Disc shaped are 1/4 MOA clicks.

My 5A on a SMLE with the 1/2 MOA adjustments & the six hole apertures, Goosic has the filter & iris eyepiece & is a 5C with the 1/4 MOA knobs

I see a PH4 sight in the left bottom corner of this photo. I use a couple of those on #4 platforms.
