As for numbers-I'm lookin @ 2.Is there any advantage in me sending once fired brass to you Tony? Since we aint hunting-thats a plus cost wise.any vehicle rented can be shared cost/use-thats a big savings. My turkey licence was $148 usd,& the car was $338 usd. That alone is almost the price of my ticket.
I'd like to take a side trip to Coventry..if I can afford it.
can only squeeze so much into a few days, tho

Hi All,
reading this thread with interest.
Dont forget you can navigate via dublin if costs work out high.
ryanair run flights to the uk for as little as €10 - 20 if booked early.
Brian.

might be of interest - ref low cost flights via Ireland to the UK.
Individuals Transiting through this State
When an individual resident in another country wishes to transit through this State with a firearm, they require a Transit through the State Licence from the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform.
An example situation is when residents of Northern Ireland wish to travel with their firearms through Dublin Airport but not use their firearms in this State.
- You must apply for a licence on the Application for the Transit of Firearms through the State (MS Word - 32KB).
- In the case of EU citizens, the application must be accompanied by the original European Firearms Pass. In any other case, a copy of a current firearms licence held by that person in their home country will suffice.
- Forward the above to the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform who will return to you a transfer document with which you can legally move the firearms(s) concerned through this State.

No problem with the brass mate as for you going to Coventry thats an old English joke for ignoring somebody who's annoying! ie " Send him/her to coventry" IF members agree to shooting at bisley we can call in at coventry on the way back here.
We may not need to hire a mini bus depending on numbers as hopefully by then Alex will be driving and we can use both vehicles the transport people around. The landrover will seat 4 plus driver in comfort plus carry a lot of kit the little suzuki will take another 3 plus driver so all we'll need to do is pay for fuel.

Tony I have driven in England before I can get either a rental car or have a rider for extra insurance on your policy.
