Gday all
just wondering if there is any way to get an approximate YOM for a sling that doesn't appear to have any stamp?? or does the lack of indicate a repro? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() thanks in advance ![]() |

Nowhere as much as it indicates a scrubbing to get rid of the "Blanco"! Most repros have way, way too good a stamping! Most of the originals have fades a bit over the decades. ALL accessories from ALL manufacturers were required to be stamped with maker & year.

nope - your repros are generally clearly marked , as are some originals but that looks good as an original , not all were marked

it looks pretty authentic to me , you can see the remains of the blanco , there were earlier brass fitted and later steel fitted FWTW

Both look original military spec. One thing to check out is that the brass isn't cracked where the hook sits.
I bought one and only noticed the crack when it was on the rifle. You don't want it to fail when you are carrying the rifle.
