anybody remember ?

   the actress dorthy provine ? the reason i ask is she turned up in my alfred hitxcjcock show this evening , she was a looker of the same type as marlyn manroe and jane mansfield of that same era but i dont recall her being lumped into that bombshe!! category the others were , she was born in deadwood south dakota in 1935 - so she was a lotolder than i ever knew only ten years youner than my parents give or take , but i remember as a kid thinking her very pretty , she died in 2010 and i dont remember that happening so maybe i wa a big fan and no one else were ??? but then i wasnt thinking alll that much of stars back then or their deaths 
she was the classic platinum blonde - i think she was in some tv things like he haw and such in the 50s too but im not sure of that 00 i just remember her 

one thing im noticing tho is that my age is showing - i remember beautiful women of my patents age as a kid , i remember some of my era too , but im feeling very old based on the ones that i grew up with , 

barbara  stanwiyk is another that i always thought beautiful growing up  and she was born in 1907 - man does that start to date me , 

ill add a couple later to put me in perspective pf my actual age but wow im really wondering of myself these days - my dads airplain in WWII had younger actress graphics than my memories [most of them did] i must be getting old , 

i liked jaquilan smith a lot back in the day as well as goldie hawn and the flying nun and charlies angles , but lets be real - they were current stars that i hadnt groewn up seeing , farraw fawcettes poster was on my dorm wall but she was not what i thought of as a movie star , and maybe thats the pont of this ............

the movie stars i remember were older ? scarlet in gone with the wind , dorthy on the wizard of oz those are what i recall most vivadly as a young person , later in life i paid a lot less attention because it bacame very apparent that stars made political statements that i disagreed with ? not sure but ....

as much as ive liked younger stars in certain rolls , i dont remember them as well or as fondly , but then ive never been a big movie star fan of any of them , so maybe it doesnt matter in the end anyway

	I still like Raquel Welch! I saw her on a USO show in the mid sixties on Guam as a young person.
