Faux Parker Hale Custom No4 sighted in...

Range time this morning had me sighting in the Custom No4. My chosen ammunition was the D166 200grn Rebated BTHP's. I was on target within 3 shots and was zeroed by the fifth round. Gave the bore a quick scrub and then let it cool down for 15 minutes. I then installed the sling to see if I could still hit the bullseye while standing. Through the scope it appeared as if I was trying to shoot from a swing set, it looked that horrible. Ten rounds down range with a minute between each shot later and I did pretty well according to my teenager. Come this October I'm using it for Mule Deer...

I was going to shoot more off the bench after standing but decided to keep standing. I purposely seated the bullets to a C.O.L. of 3.055" which puts them .15" off the lands but when I saw what they were doing just from the standing position I figured there was no sense in wasting rounds...
