I need to cold blue it. Other then that, this is the final form. The scope is a Nikko Stirling 3-9×40. I did snap a tap off while threading one of the scope base holes and I could not retrieve it  so I had to make a whole new hole.

Goosic. What will you be using to cold blue? I've never tried It but hear Oxpho-Blue is an excellent product.

I've used their Tru-Oil on countless non Enfield stocks I have refurbished. Great results and very nice on the right rifle. Lately, I've been doing a ton of early Cooey .22's. Even though they are .22's, the furniture is nice to work with and by my eye, mostly Walnut. So for these I've been using the "Old English" finish with linseed oil.

I've found no single cold blue is good on everything!
Even that AGP sight I re-blued I used 3 different blues!
One for the ladder, one for the elevator block & a third for the arm & eyepiece.
Worth noting if you have a bi that isn't taking blue well try a different one!
G96 "Gun blue creme" & B C "Super Blue" liquid seem to be the most versatile.
