Seeking Enfield familiar gunsmith in Midwest USA

I am seeking some recommendations for a qualified/familiar with Enfields type gunsmith in the Midwestern United States. I am near Chicago. I am building what most people would probably consider a Frankenstein Lee Enfield from scrap parts and stocks that I have acquired. I am not butchering or cannibalizing any existing rifles. Everything for my project is from new old stock or stripped parts from doomed scrap rifles. I have a 7.62 barrel, receiver, and bolt. This project is a tribute to my grandfather who served in Burma during the war (American Signal Corps) and was attached to the British. Those was issued in Enfield for years of logistics.

I plan to use it for marksmanship practice at the gun range and also stag hunting with my family. I have love this rifle since I was a child and am thrilled to finally have my own. I plan to do most of the restoration myself using available manuals, video tutorials on YouTube, consulting a school friend’s husband (a custom gunsmith who doesn’t work on Enfields) and, of course, the abundance of information on the forum here. I would like a Smith to be able to check the headspace and other critical components. Please send any recommendations.
