I bought a couple of those slings from Charlie Surplus; they are peddling them as sniper slings. I don't know what they were made for but they work well on my No8's because they dont slip the adjustment when shooting using the sling to steady the rifle. I think 20 dollars is less than I paid.
Worth a look if you shoot competitions.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!
