well lets put it in perspective here - in bidens term the prices were higher because of his regulations and exclusionsions , todays high prices - still lower are because we affected a major supply line to asia/china and europe , i think it will settle soon , things will go back to a lower norm but we get to go thru the current state - which is still better than we had with biiden - so haw bad is it really ? we have cleaned up a mess that all the presidents before have kicked down the road - ignored - neglected , this man addressed it , and is dealing with it decisively , im going to ride it out and expect good things - or at least better than we have had , that theocracy has killed more people than some wars without paying for it , now they are , it needs to go away and let the iranian people have a free government , one they elect that doesnt kill them if they disagree , my hopes are optomistic i know but the few iranians i know here feel the same , that country deserves better than what they have had , |

We're up almost a buck a gallon here in North Texas, from $2.49 to $3.44 per gallon since the start of the attacks on Iran. T'is a small price to pay to remove that odious regime from the planet.

I was down a bit in fuel for my Crown Vic.
Gas was up a dollar in a week. Went and got a battery for my 1972 motorcycle. It is only a 750 but it will get the job done. Now have to get it registered. Would like one of those Ural motor cycles with a sidecar. The sidecar would fit a Grandbaby just right |

A 1972 Suzuki. Paid cash for it and got plates from the dealer.
Drove it all over Europe. A rice burner. My wife does not like it at all. Took it to Grafenwoehr in 1979. |

1972 Suzuki 750, that’s got to be in the very early years of the “large” capacity engines. I had a 1966 Suzuki 125 cc single. I think the largest capacity engine they made that year was a 250 cc twin.
My next bike was a 1977 Yamaha 500 cc. Still have it. I finally graduated to a British 500 cc Single, a 1967 Velocette. Lovely machine, would not trade it for anything. |

my first was a 72 triumph 650 bonneville , the second was a 73 triumph 750 bonneville , they were equally fast and responsive the 73 was far more comfortable to ride - i should have given them up in 72 but i didnt till 78 , thats when i sold the 73 for twice what it cost , but i nebver broke even as i wrecked the 72 - total loss , darned near killed me ,
i took the money and bought my boat when i moved here and never looked back , yes i still have a motoercycle endorsement on my license but ive never ridden again , so far i still have the boat

Paddy, that wasn't a 'Water Buffalo" was it? Suzuki made major headlines when they built the first liquid cooled Japanese bike in 1971. A buddy of mine owned one and we would swap rides all the time. He loved my Norton P11A for its handling buy the Suzuki was more comfortable for long rides.

In the UK we called the liquid cooled Suzuki "the Kettle". They were popular here!
The only bike I still have, is a Yamaha XT500 from 1986. Regarding the rise in gas prices, it's gone up in France too. But it is an investment in the future for our children. I'm prepared to pay more to hopefully have a world with less terrorists. However that will require Trump finishing the job once and for all!

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!
