This is my Savage. This has the PH-5C rear sight. It also has the Parker Hale front sight cover with, a gold bead front sight. The rear sight also has an Alfred J Parker adjustable Iris peep sight.

I have yet to shoot it but,that time is coming around shortly...

That rifle is ripe for the shooting, it should turn out to be very accurate once it is all tuned in. Nice job!

beautiful , a traditional no 4 with target sights , should be great fun at the range

I've retained the original front and rear sights along with the extractor screw just in case I decide it needs to stay all original.

very good move - i would do exactly that as well , leave all your options open at all times when fussin with these
