All,
I’m looking for a longbranch Mk1 vernier leaf sight. I saw one on eBay but it looks like someone beat me to it. Anybody looking to part ways with one?

I have a Mk1 micrometer sight. It is not a LB made version though if it matters. I think it was made by Fazackerly or Poole. Possibly BSA. I will look tomorrow evening when I get home...

thanks, goosic. It’s for a 1949 longbranch; just trying to keep her all Canadian but, in today’s market, I know I can’t be too picky. PM me at your leisure, thanks again.

Here is my assessment of this sight.
The marking on the upper left could be either a B indicating a BSA made Mk1 or it is a L superimposed over a B indicating a Long Branch made Mk1. Either or, they will all be identical and will work in all the different No4Mk1 made Enfield rifle. All the components on this one were supplied by Poole so, my assumption is that it is a BSA made Mk1 micrometer sight. PM me if you want it and we can work out an agreement..
