gday white rhino! welcome to the circus

yes i agree with ya hoadie..im under the impression that the yellow paint means its cadet/training issue. at least thats what ive read, somewhere at sometime, cant remember where i saw this though. ive also seen the bayonets at gun shows with this yellow "ring" around the grips. very rare i think...maybe someone else knows more on this.

I may be wrong -& Tony might have somethin on this - but I seem to recall yellow paint on BRITISH made Enfields having something to do with either Foriegn service, foriegn export, or cadet issue.I'm not sure - @ my age I can't remember what I did 10 mins ago.
What wuz I sayin ?
Oh yeah...Tony - he's a great guy.Has yellow paint on his knickers, I think.

I just purchased an enfield with yellow paint on the muzzle  about 5 inches down from muzzle  the tage tide to the trigger says mk I, the band above the trigger has a date of  enfield 1916 or maybe its 1910 the 6 or 0 are kind of hard to make out then below that SMLE now im assuming that the M is an M but it looks like a W missing a part through it then below that there is a III ,  there is also a III on the safety the yellow paint is what boyhers me. now the guy that i bought the gun from said the yellow paint makes it moor valluble. i got it for $69.95 because it didnt have the magazine with it. so also what type mag. do i request when ordering one?
