I have definitely found the reason for the non firing No2 Mk1*. The trigger. The contact point on the trigger that index's the hammer catch is wore down to the point that it will not move the hammer back far enough to engage the primer hard enough to fire the round. The hammer catch is wore down to. I ordered the parts from Numrich Gun Parts and after installation was done, everything is as it should be now.

Numrich does ship certain things to Canada. They won't ship rifle scopes. I enquired about their Enfield sniper scope clone.

That is strange. I wonder why they won't ship a scope? The only dangerous thing about a scope I can think of is it you accidentally drop it,breaking the lenses, causing you to step on the shards in your bare feet...

I'm not sure. It even States on their web sight a list of stuff they don't ship to Canada. Magazines, scopes. I've noticed, and not sure if it's related, but scopes on EBay say they don't ship to Canada. I think someone mentioned on the forum it was something initiated by Obama in regards to the cross border shipping of firearms optics and mags, and kind of morphed from there.

Yes he "Re-Interpreted ITAR" which was written to prohibit the sale or shipment of militarily sensitive or secret items like the micro-channel plate equipped Gen 3 night vision.
He added all sorts of crazy stuff that wasn't in the least secret or sensitive. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Traffic_in_Arms_Regulations |
