Heavy rain showers will keep me off the range today but it's still a great day to this side of the dirt. So here is some photo fun.

Pouring rain here as well keeping me off the firing range and I had plans to test a recent restoration of a #4 Long Branch. Sunny days ahead though!

.............Thumbs Up...........

Rain went away but I lost my range day.

The Euro 30mm scope was for my pig gun project from a few years ago. I used a 1945 #4T very nice receiver that some expert had cut off about 5 inches of barrel. I spent two days hiking the hills trailing wild Bore tracks but never once saw the big one. We did see a nursing sow but that was not what we were looking for.

I still have 18 of the 180g Remington SP's, it only took two rounds to zero at 200 yards which is the only practical shot in the scrub covered hills overlooking the Pacific Ocean. After that failed adventure I sold the stock set and hung the barreled receiver on the wall. It was an accurate package for as little work that was put into it.

Let's work out a deal on that barreled action. I could do something with that...
