What kind of scopes are those? Very nice looking pair you got there.. Are you happy with the range shooting? When were those rifles made?

1908 and 1911 with 1939 or 1940 AJAX scopes. The 6.5X55 round is one of the best military and civilian munitions ever created. It would be almost impossible to be disappointed in performance.

Well, I was not sure what rifle that was, and was guessing at the type.
Are they related to Enfield in some way?

wait..wait...wait. Is someone inferring that the rOSS WAS IN 6.5 x 55é
this thread is getting confusing..cuz I know for sure Ross was NOT in 6.5 X 55. I have an M-43 in that caliber |

Well yes you did. When we went to wood ants all hope was lost. That line of posting was just as rude as pork fat on patched bullets at Ramadan. ..............................

The Mosin Nagant "hex" receivered rife is what is commonly called a "Finn Capture".
It has been fitted into a two -piece Fin stock, and had sling hangers fitted instead of the Russian dog collars. "SA " marked by Finnish army. For some reason, these can be Very accurate rifles. (But V hard to be beat a decent Swedish Mauser!)
