Syrian rebels vow to march on Jerusalem.

Never underestimate the Islamic world's penchant for getting into fights it cannot win.  They allow their bluster and hyperbole to paint themselves into a corner where they must act or lose face.  I don't see Jordan or Egypt wanting a repeat of the a$$ kickings they've received from Israel but radical Islamists are a horse of a different color.  They'll probe on the Israeli side of the Bravo Line separating the Syrian Area of Limitation (AOL) from the Area of Separation (AOS) so they can proclaim they attacked the "Little Satan".  Israel, in anticipation of such attacks has proactively taken over Syrian positions to give themselves a larger buffer.  In some places, the U.N. patrolled AOS is a scant 1/3 of a mile wide and its maximum width is only 6 miles wide.  

Israel has wisely maintained control of the Golan Heights since 1967 after Syria would emplace artillery on the western edge of the escarpment to rain down artillery onto kibbutzes near Lake Kinneret and even threatened to divert the Jordan River which supplies Israel with a third of its fresh water.  Any nation when faced with such threats would have acted similarly.
