I finally had some time to make some final adjustments on my PH-5C with the 1/4" moa clicks that I have on my No4mk1* LB converted to .22. The front sight of choice is a Parker Hale with +1.5 & +2.0 power inserts and a tiny bubble level inside the tube. The German Gehmann optics have the six color lenses, 0.5-2.9 aperture settings, and +0.5 - +1.5 focal power settings. Using the rear optics in conjunction with the +2.0 insert gives a total focusing power equal to a 3.5 powered rifle scope. Being that I am in a confined area with the maximum yardage at 50,I used Aguila .22 subsonic long rifle rounds with a velocity of 420 FPS. After a lengthy sighting in procedure with the collamating and calibration of the sight finalized, the fun commenced. The zero setting on the elevation slide is equal to fifty yards, for my rifle.

That sound really neat. Sort of an update on the classic Galilean system!

As a side note here, does anyone have an ebay link for that Gehmann rear sight to fit onto a Parker Hale TZ 4/47 rear sight for .303? Sight and adapter? THX!
