not at all hard to believe considering the savage production was all lend lease or gifted war effort for commonwealth use , none of it saw US service , in 42 everything was needed immediately in service , im surprised it is in this condition , must have served in canadian home front service , i think you found one that was well preserved and well worth having , it would look great on a savage rifle tho ,
