Here is my small lot of Pattern-1907 Bayonets. Both of the top two full-length Bayonets are made by Sanderson. The top bayonet was bought for $7 (U.S.), it is a Drill Purpose marked bayonet with rounded tip. When I got it, it was covered in rust, had no grips. I pieced it back together, with Australian grips ("Slaz 42") and grip screws and found a scabbard. While it is not worth any thing, I had fun cleaning it up.
The middle bayonet is also Sanderson, made in 1917. Somewhere along the way it had Australian grips replace the originals. I bought this for $15 (U.S.) last year. The last bayonet is a Wilkinson made bayonet that has been cut-down to 12" blade length. I'm fairly certain this was done in India, it had also been blued with trace amounts of black paint over the bluing. The scabbard is a reproduction. Mark

Good job with the revived '07 !
Painted 'n blued finishes are common for Indian bayo's and painted scabbards too.
I can't quite makeout the point of the bayo.
-straight backed point = Indian pattern Mk1
-false edge point = " " Mk1*

No it is a reproduction, International Military Antiques, $9.95 (U.S.)...LOL.
See it in person and you can tell, it looks the real thing from a distance, but there is not spring locket inside the throat. If you invert the scabbard the bayonet will slide out...LOL. I think the real scabbards were just that, cut-down Pattern-1907 Scabbards. Mark |

my 1907s as of this date anyway ,
 top-to-bottom
1942 OA rearsenaled with SLAZ 42 grip scales that have never been handled
 1917 CHAPMAN w/clearing hole
1915 EFD wo/clearing hole
1910 MOLE w/hooked quillon
