Todays work.

Multiple coats of neat Linseed Oil painted on, rubbed in with a cloth and some wire wool then wiped off.

I also prepared the wax that I will be polishing the wood with later in the week - 50/50 Bees Wax and Linseed Oil

Ducan is that a non Gunsmith scope mount? I like that rifle and can be made back original if needed.

That was the whole idea CM. Because this rifle is already a mix of parts and therefore has no history I was prepared to do it.

It's from S&K Scope Mounts in PA. Part Nº. 1165 which includes the mount rings. Was easy to fit and to zero.
