A Distinguished competitive shooter friend of mine decided to retire from the sport and I just bought out his supply of primers, powder and cases.  This should hold me for a few more years.

I’ve got about 10 lbs Varget left.  When that is gone, I’ll be changing my .303 load to 35.0 - 36.0 gr H4895 with 174 SMK.  H4895 is a good general purpose powder, will work in all my rifles, including the AR.

Also bought a 1903/A3 from him for shooting in the CMP Springfield Matches, so now can enter the three gun GSM (Garand, Springfield and Vintage Military).  It has a NOS 1943 Remington barrel with only 40 rounds thru it.  Still had some traces of cosmoline in the bore.

That's great news.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

I’ll be sharing the loot with my shooting buddies of course.  No sense in me being the only one shooting in a match…

I paid a reasonable price for all of this, more than what he paid for it, but less than the gouging prices we see from retailers these days.  So a win-win.  And, no tax, no shipping and no Hazmat fees either Smile

I just purchased 9Lbs of IMR3031 and 1000 WLR primers from my local gun store at the original prices set before this pandemic price increase happened. They're not into reloading and have a rack full of used reloading equipment at very cheap prices...
