Anyone have a cruciform bayonet?

	Rough forged, then machined/milled to spec.

	yes , i have one although mine has not been preserved in the pristine condition many prefer , there were a bunch of these given away with the no4s aim sold a while back - till they caught on that they were not just another spike should be at the far right IIRC

	Hopefully one of these days I will run across a No.4 Mk.I bayonet. I have every version of the No.4 bayonet except the No.4 Mk.I. It seems they are going for prices that are outer limits from someone who knows what they are, people get lucky buying from someone who has no clue. I think a lot of people make "replicas" from No.4 Mk.I spikes, watch out for them. I'd love to find a No.7 bayonet someday as well. Mark

	I meant to say, people make replicas/fakes of the No.4 Mk.I bayonet from No.4 Mk.II bayonet, so watch out for forgeries. I'm dyslexic and make typing errors all the time...LOL. Mark

	i will agree with you on those fakes , but close looking can save a misstake and be sure to look close there are good buys on real ones out there for those that look

	Good deals on these seem to have passed by -- haven't seen any "deals" on these since one delaer was selling them for $50.00 a few years ago - I don't see many for sale -- maybe just my area

	I'm not sure if I have ever seen a No.4 Mk.1 bayonet "in real life" to be honest. Unless there was one on display at the I.W.M. in London and I don't recall seeing it, the one time I was there was a rush go-through. Mark

	just last year the surplus no4s were being sent out weith a free spike here - odly enough a bunch of mkIs got sent out :>} - no i didnt get one , but then therewas a fellow recently went into a pawn shop and picked the mkI over the pretty mkII for the same $15 , and went home happy
