Just picked up a chromed parade Patt 1907 bayonet.
The grips, screws and locking catch were missing. I've found the replacement parts and I'm going to get the catch re-chromed.
Were the grip screws chromed? I'm not sure if I should get them done too.

i think on the parade they were but this has never been an interest of mine , all my chrome ones are long gone , taken in trade and passed along in trade , my FIL was supposed to have a chrome M1905 presentation but ive never seen it and with four sons of his own i doubt my wife will inherit that from her mother ,

I might just get them chromed too.
I assume the scabbard wasn’t chromed.
