can a rifle that has been drilled and rod welded in it be fixed?

Sorry to say but nope. The receiver is drilled through on purpose to deactivate it and warn people to not attempt to revive it to working conditions.

thanks was just checking before I cut it up and throw it away. I bought it for parts anyway.

Shame that you will cut it up and throw it away. Even deactivated rifles have a history and story to tell.

before you cut it up..you may be able to use the de-act parts to help someone else.
I had some de-activated Enfields from my old Legion. They went west to help someone else. We do take active roles in helping each other when possible. Anything to keep the legacy alive. |
