JD, thanks for your firing pin tool thread. I made one per your instructions out of a new $4.00 6mm socket and got my stubborn firing pin right out. It had soaked in penetrating oil overnight too.

I must admit that I broke my first firing pin removal tool and had to regrind the end lugs.
I then bought a second one while ordering some other bits. Never thought about using an old socket. Such a great idea and so obvious when you see it done!
