found this forum looking for info on a NO 1 MK3 I have and very glad I did!Picked up a#4MK1* awhile back and I dearly love it.My firearms knowledge is for the most part with blackpowder and I am really looking forward to what I can learn here. I have two other Enfields a No2 revolver marked RAF and dated 1937 and a No4 rifle dated 1942.  I have a PIAT and a Willys Jeep made up made up like an SAS Jeep with dummy Vickers Ks mounted on the cowl and a dummy .50 on a pedestal

I want reload data for the PIAT! Evil Smile Big smile
You can actually shoot B/P in a .303 enfield!
Start with a .32 RB & fill the case with fffG!
Cast bullets can also be used with B/P. Many don't realize the .303 was (initially in the Mk1) a B/P cartridge!
Its impossible to overload the .303 case with B/P!Confused

Don't shoot till you see the whites of their thighs. (Unofficial motto of the Royal Air Force)

welcome , sounds like you are enjoying the adventure and you have come to the right place - others will chime in with more info than i have at my fingertips but , this is the place to get good data ,

these rifles can be complicated until you get the spectrum of what they developed thru but its a great area of study , shamu just gave you some great info that i was only vaguely aware of as i dont shoot BP much , not sure why other than the cleanup ,
