Just got back from the range. .303 Bishop stock, 3x9 Baush & Laumb vs .308 Thompson Icon, glass bedded, 4x12 B&L. I used a rest and a sand bag,. Uddy had a lead sled. Three shot groups @ 100 yds. His...1.26". Mine...1.27". Very happy! Found my elk and moose load for winter as I just found out we got drawn!

Congrats on the draw selection and yes that kind of shooting accuracy should really help fill the freezer with delicious healthy tasty elk/moose meat!

Thanks Canuck. I haven't even put in for big game for about 20 years. Dec.3-23 is our season. I think anything inside 200 yards the Lee Enfield with the 180's should have an excellent chance of a clean kill. Just gotta see them!

I used these same rounds in my rifles at the military events at our local club. We shot steel out to 200 yards and they hit with pretty good authority!
