I just bought on line and waiting for my FFL dealer to receive my first Enfield No 4 Mark 1 rifle. I never owned one before. With vintage target matches, I thought having Enfield to shoot along with my Garand and 1903 rifles as well. Looking forward to laren more about loading ammo and caring for it and any accuracy tips as well.

Curious about getting the reproduction sniper scope and mount, is there anyone can tell me about issues and being able to get a gunsmith to do this?

Thanks
NJ

The fore stock and upper hand guard I think I'm pretty sure I could sand out the dings but the rear stock the dings there are pretty deep. Either fill them in with something or replace it. I believe it's beech color stock? Did I write that correctly, it's nut a dark walnut stock like my garand or my springfield 03.

you could steam out the deep dings but from the sound of it you are not so much into original as you are the looks of it , post some photos maybe a few observations will help ,
