Good thing Bear's house was built on an ant hill..or it would've flooded out as well! Good thinking! (Where he is, ant hills are the "high" ground!)

yes , and he is not in my water shed so i feel OK with saying anyone south of me on the mississippi shuld prepare - lots of water headed south from here ,

local restaurant flooded with a full house on sunday , three emergency units evacuated , ice damn caused the sauk river to rise three feet in minutes , south of me so not affected , mine is clear of ice now so i think i am clear of that issue , it is bank full though - but not in my yard ...yet ,

60s tomorrow might be an issue but a lot is already gone , i think im clear this year , i do love hearing the water roar at night though it is a soothing sound and i can hear it through the closed windows and doors , in the summer i have to open the deck door to really hear the water on the rapids out back , the level is a good four feet different ,
