That's a really awkward looking setup for a leftie with the scope offset like that!

Not so bad if you always shoot with your left eye!

Actually, as a southpaw, I always thought a Bren Gun (except for the magazine) would be ideal for a leftie! Now thinking the same with this scope mount. Mind you, I've never been behind either at the range.

About 15 years ago I switched to a straight edge (cut throat) Dovo razor for my daily shave. Not being really flexible, and left handed, I quickly learned how to use the straight edge with my right hand for the right side of my face. I feel totally comfortable putting this potentially harmful piece of steel on my throat with my off hand. That being said, I would never, ever, teach my wife how to use a straight edge or shave me!

Shooting the 1916 at Bisley.

Two shots into one inch at 200 yards.

MJ11.
When using that scope and your No32 scopes, where on the target are you aiming at to get them to hit center?

Pete Bloom to owner of the 1916 told me to aim at the center of the #14 the pit monkey spotted the marker on the left cheek. The #14 was exposed for five seconds in random a loop holes at 200 yards

My L1A1 and the #32 on my 1943T I use the range drum and set the value to the range. The L1A1 is true to 600 yards each of the #32s vary a little but not much and I have three that are spot on through 500 Yards the rest I have not put the time into and are just roughed in at 200 I hold off what ever they are doing after two spotting shots with the ammo on hand which is normally 150g~174g SMKs. This is mostly done with 25 yard NRA pistol targets because I have about 1K of them.

I don't claim to be an expert at anything but I did spend time with my three favorite rifles. Pretty much a shade tree operation all around.

None have been shot with my recent supply Greek 1970s HXP. I have had no place to shoot for over a year now and don't know what is going to happen after this week.

I have not even test fired the most recent 1945T Set rifle so it is just set by one of Peter Laidler's wall charts.

as one whos dominate eye has shifted from right to left i might be ready for one of these , i do love the older rifles and find these intriguing , i tend toward the 22s these days from the larger calibers but i still have my mkIII - just dont think ill ever alter it in my lifetime , i think ill keep it as the original it is , but thanks all for this eye opening [albeit left] experience
