Just saw an add for one of those faux Enfield that Australian company made several years ago. No4 full wood replica. Bloke wants $1800. If I remember correctly, when I saw them at a gun show here about 10 years ago, I think they were around $750. CAD. I don't think it'll sell all that fast. I believe the company is no longer in business.

Are you thinking of the Korean or Vietnamese ones that were imported via Australia's A.I.A.?
AFAIK they are 100% non-interchangeable with actual L-E's.

Yup. AIA. I knew none of the parts were interchangeable. If I remember correctly, they had a sniper version, a No4 version and a Jungle Carbine version that was chambered for 7.62X39. Ten years ago I almost thought seriously about buying one. Now that I'm back kinda into the real ones, no way.

The 7.62X39 carbine was interesting, but the whole thing turned into a mess anyway.
