he!!o Guys-

I’ve been lurking on this forum for quite some time now.  Havn’t posted in an equally long time, due to family health matters occupying most of my time.

My wife got diagnosed with liver cancer in late January, and her treatment and care has taken over most of my time and effort. I won’t be bidding on any of these, due to this;  however I thought some of you folks might want to.

Anyway, I somehow got onto a website in Rock Island, Illinois that has LOTS of firearms auctions this month.  I thought that you guys would like to see some of this, as there are many of our favorite rifles and a few of Enfield pistols.  There are some Ross, and some much older Enfields as well.

I’m sure that many of you know that the Rock Island Arsenal is our American Army’s oldest arsenal, and the surrounding area’s gun dealers are influenced by that.  This auction company calls itself Rock Island Auction Company, however I do not know if there is a direct relationship with the US Army arsenal.

You will need to find the search bar, and type in “Enfield” as I did, then a new page will load with our favorite weaponry offered.  There are quite a few listed.

my best and prayers for your wife , glad you dropped in , when you can continue , i used to live a mile or so from the RI Arsenal and did a lot of work on the island , im very familiar with what it was in the 80s but been gone since 82 ,

there is a lot of branding capitalizing on our familiar names , its not at all uncommon but can misslead some to think they are real , that said - enjoy what you find if you can afford it - ive noticed these auctions go quite high [too rich for my meager disposable cash]

Yeah, I noticed that the pricing seems to be high to me as well.

There is one of them that is a multiple listing for either four or five non-sporterized rifles that in another time I would be interested in pursuing.  Don’t know what I’d do with that many Enfields...  howevr I guess I’d figure that out!  I would like to have another No4 mk2 tho.

Your good thoughts are gratefully appreciated!
