I'm going to give you guys some teasers of this one while I figure out where to host the higher-resolution photos, but basically - this has a complete part by part illustrated guide to the CLLE and ShtLE rifles in service in 1913 complete with thread per inch and diameters on all threaded parts. There are instructions for various settings - trigger pull is to be 6lbs in MLE charger rifles and 5 1/2lbs in MLE short rifles for example, with a +/-1lb allowance on the first and +/-0.5lb allowance on the second. The first stage in the short rifles should be between 3 and 4 lbs. There are instructions - and a full size template- for fixing a loose buttwith any kind of available paper. Not a particularly big book but packed with information. I did pay slightly more than the threepence the cover suggests, haha.
It also has a dimensioned diagram of the chamber, which will be interesting to compare to the SAAMI chamber spec. And finally, a teaser of what the rest holds once I find a photo host. There are several of these very large foldouts. |
