 hoadie,  geez i hope that gets across quick, otherwise there will be alot of people de-facing their beloved rifles for no reason. i didnt know there was restrictions on mag capacity on your side.. can you explain why this would be?

	Yeah...See STUPID CANADIAN LAWS ! It was passed, to stop "massacres".(In their puny little minds - this works) They made it ILLEGAL to OWN or POSSES any magazine that has a capacity of more than 5 rounds. Then the trouble started. They estimated that there was some 1.5 MILLION lee enfields out there - & they were issued with 10 round mags...& what about 22's ?(as you can see-these idiots REALLY thought this one out!) So then they said ,rim fire is o.k.(shotguns have always had a law to plug the capacity @ 3) Then they realized that weapons like the garand - didn't fall into catagory of "assault" weapon.But it is only loaded with 8.Trying to load 5 or less is quite something...usually end up with bullets poppin out all over the place - & just when you think you got it...WHAM! a newly minted m-1 thumb!!! So the law says 5.Most hunting arms come with 5 round mags, anyway.(Mister - if you can't kill your deer with 5 shots, I submit..ur no hunter!) The people it affects most is the competitive combat shooter. & my L/e are exempt - so la dee dah! Sadly - alot of people didn't / dont know about that(they didn't exactly publicize it) & went ahead & ruined them.(Even my own Legion WELDED the breeches closed on our colour party's Enfields!!! Am I Pissed ?!?!) But thats another story for another time. I'll get a copy of the legislation & send it to whomever requests it. Hoadie

	stops the massacres? yeh i know they storm up some crap ideas...what? the moron doin the killin cant reload after 5 rounds????? geez. sometimes i think the mouse in the politicians head falls of its runnin wheel!
